Aleksandr Sabinin

Life and works of V.I. Lenin during the difficult period for the country of 1918.

In a desolate world following the nuclear apocalypse, a scholar helps a small group of adults and children survive in the basement of a former museum of history. In his mind, he writes letters to his only son that will never be read and tries to find shreds of hope in his new reality.

A folk performance in two acts with pantomime, buffoonery, and shooting, performed by the troupe of the Drama and Comedy Theater on Taganka.

The movie intertwines the plot lines of the stories "In the Bathhouse", "Tears Invisible to the World", "A Conversation between a Man and a Dog" and others. By the will of the film's creators, the viewer gets to the rehearsals of an unusual choir and gets acquainted with the stories of the singers - diverse, but invariably amusing.
