This comedy starring Miroslav Donutil tells the story of an American of Czech origin who returns to his homeland in the 1990s. At his parents' request, he is supposed to take over the family hotel in Prague and find a Czech bride. However, he has no idea what he will have to endure in the atmosphere of the 1990s, what condition he will find the property in, or what tragicomic situations he will have to go through before someone deprives him of his property. But in the end, he finds a girl who, unbeknownst to her, comes from the same background as him.

The story is based on Czech fairy tales, which depict water sprites as creatures indistinguishable from humans. They can help humans and form deeper relationships with them. A humanized water sprite also helps the fearful Florianek find happiness. However, as it turns out, Florianek would not have won his beloved without his own courage...

In prison, the prince is discovered by the water nymph Aneta, who is enchanted by the young man's beauty. She boasts about her latest discovery to her friend, the genie Létavec. However, he objects to the nymph, saying that the most beautiful creature is the emperor's daughter, Princess Budúr, who rejects all suitors. The magical beings bring their favorites together so they can compare their charms. However, they have no idea that this fateful meeting will cause Prince Dominik and Princess Budúr to fall in love.

A historical film that takes place on the eve of the thirty year war combines aspects of fairy-tales with historical dramas, fencing with a child heroes who find themselves in great dangers. We are in the year 1611 and mercenaries that had previously invaded Czech lands now have to withdraw before the Hungarian king's army. In this chaos a magical bottle, that fulfills the owner one single wish, appears among some fugitives - however after the fulfillment it has to be sold for half it's price to a new owner. The director Ludvík Ráža has created an attractive and surprisingly cruel film aimed not only at young viewers.

TV movie "Triptych of love" was created by short stories by famous Slovak writer Ladislava Nádaši - Jégeho. Renaissance short stories from the collection "Italy" are a variety of views from different backgrounds, linking theme of many forms of love, its tones and semitones, from bitterly ridiculous after tragic. A young teacher grows up in a small Slovak village during the Second World War.

A young woman named Alena discovers her fiancé Pavel's repeated infidelity. After meeting with her former married boyfriend, she loses control of her car and crashes. The result is tragic: severe injuries to her head, spinal cord, and spine. Even after several months, doctors and parents consider her condition hopeless. The only ones who do not lose faith in her recovery are the doctor in the rehabilitation department and her grandmother, who takes care of her. The others cannot cope psychologically with the situation that has changed their lives. Hopelessness and helplessness influence their actions. Will they be able to find the strength to overcome their selfishness and help not only Alena but also themselves?

The popular Moravanka brass band performs at the fair. Vasek Pivoňka, the bandleader of the local brass band Kulatěnky, which broke up, decides to put the band back together. The village musicians are sceptical at first, but later they start rehearsing with vigour. Standa, a Prague resident who is working in a pig farm to cure his nerves, helps them to organise the concert. He really likes Evica Kocourková, but her father keeps an eye on her. Young Šišák tries to charm the teacher Olina. Before the performance can begin, the band must succeed before the cultural committee. However, they fail to do so. The disappointed musicians play for themselves at the station and suddenly they are successful. Standa comes up with an idea how to push Kulatěnka through without the permission of the commission. A concert of Moravanka is being prepared in nearby Nechvalin.

A TV adaptation of Zuzka Zguriška's novel of the same name. The story takes place in a characterful Slovak village. It shows a picture of the inhabitants of Myjava in the 1920s, where there is no lack of freshness, brightness, liveliness and cheerfulness. The main character, a wealthy patriarchal ruler, orders her three adult sons around. She refuses to acknowledge her son's love; she does not want a poor bride. She enjoys the rich Susanna, whom the second son marries. After many convoluted and humorous transformations, the poor girl nevertheless wins the seemingly stony heart of the Scourge.

The story takes place in Italy, a country where terrorism and kidnappings are almost daily occurrences. Rampant banditry, injustice, coercion, and ultimately hopelessness stem from political events. Sunny Italy is no longer just a place of ancient monuments and tables laden with fine wine. Now it is primarily a place of ever-deepening social and political divisions.

In a mill, far from people, lives a miller with her daughter Vojtěška. There is no man's hand here, but behind the dam of the pond lives a waterman, who does not leave the miller without help in difficult times. When the mill is most busy, unexpected help appears - a young traveler. Yesterday Vojtěška claimed that such a person had not yet been born, so that she could only look at him with her eyes. But today, under the full moon, a reed sings to her, so it is no wonder that she cannot sleep...

The story takes place in the countryside, where little Vashko's dad takes him and his mother, and where another surprise awaits them: not only an excellent holiday in the setting of a rock town, but also the figure of a grandfather, understanding all the dangerous beliefs in the turbulent surface of the renewed relationship of the three closest people. Vasek's other wish comes true - his dad teaches him the secrets of rock climbing. The merging of reality with legend, the image of reality (Ruthenian Verkhovyna in the 1920s) and its reflection in people's minds - this is what characterizes the story of the modern Transcarpathian bandit Nikola Šuhaj, who "took from the rich and gave to the poor". Ivan Olbracht's novel from the 1930s, one of the artistic peaks of modern Czech prose, is a dramatic story about a war deserter, his love for the beautiful Eržica, a story about revenge for wrongs, persecution, betrayal and death. Šuhaj's fate merged with legends in people's memory. By combining elements of the past and the present, document and myth, the story turned into a ballad about how eternal and strong the human dream of freedom and happiness is.

For nine-year-old Saša, the end of the Second World War is an adventure in which he and young neighbour friend Mařenka compete over who will spot the first Soviet soldier. But the boy causes problems when he lets two German snipers enter a house in which many families are seeking shelter. Fortunately, the inquisitive Saša also comes to the aid of Soviet soldier Váňa, whom one of the neighbours is accusing of stealing a pearl necklace.
