The movie follows middle-aged former scriptwriting star, Roman Novotny, who unwillingly accepts the only job left at his disposal, and that is to be a scriptwriter in a writing department at role playing hotel resort.

After she discovers that she's suffering from multiple sclerosis, Rozalina decides to take life into her own hands. With her red leather cowboy boots on, she marches on an incessant journey from Karlovac to Zagreb, determined to find her son whom she abanndoned decades ago.
