Firoj Khan Dollar

A political fable in which a village musician gets swept up in the market economy of big city Dhaka.

Saif Khan, who seems respectable, secretly engages in illegal activities and keeps Preeti at his house, claiming to educate her. Jeff, who loves Preeti, challenges Saif to marry her, leading to a series of amusing events.

The movie is about a poet and singer Lalon Fakir who belongs to a cult called baul and who believes and inculcates that the value of a human being is above the narrow belief of religions.
