When overworked surgeon Ryan Bartlett finds himself tasked with purchasing meaningful Christmas gifts for his entire family, he hires Natasha for help. To uncover the perfect presents, Natasha agrees to pose as Ryan’s girlfriend and spend the holiday season getting to know his family. What begins as a professional arrangement soon becomes something much more as Natasha discovers the true meaning of family, belonging, and love at Christmas.

Natalie is a children’s book illustrator struggling with creative burnout that finds unexpected inspiration when she comes across a little girl’s Christmas gift list. Unlike other children’s Christmas lists, Caroline writes her list of heartfelt prayers to Jesus, requesting blessings for her family, friends, and community – including one to ask that her recently widowed dad will find happiness again. Touched by Caroline’s list, Natalie begins to secretly fulfill each blessing. In turn, she is inspired to create a new character, Adeline the Angel, to illustrate the ways Jesus quietly works through everyday people to answer prayers with love and grace.

Natalie prepares for the launch of her debut children’s book, Adeline the Angel, while Wes continues to deepen his faith journey. When Caroline quietly begins a mission to answer the prayers and needs of those around her community, the family discovers that some of God’s greatest works are accomplished through simple acts of kindness. As Christmas approaches, Bellford Falls once again becomes a place where hope is restored, prayers are answered, and hearts are drawn closer to the reason for the season.
