When strict pandemic restrictions are relaxed to allow for the formation of 10 person social bubbles, Charlie's prayers are answered. But squeezing into a bubble proves more challenging than she expected.

After her mother’s sudden death, Polly is consumed by grief — and by the face staring back at her in the mirror. She’s always looked like her mother, but now the resemblance feels unnatural. When she discovers she can summon vivid memories through her own reflection, it becomes a private ritual — comforting at first, then compulsive. As the visions deepen and identities begin to unravel, Polly must face a terrifying question: is she bringing her mother back, or becoming her?
