A Soviet cruise ship "Evgeni Onegin" is carrying cages with tigers and lions for a Soviet Circus. One loose monkey unlocks all cages, letting the tigers and lions out. Poor passengers and crew have no place to run. The captain abandons his post out of fear, and the monkey takes over the captain's post. The ship gets under total control by the tigers and lions. Only one lady is standing up to the challenge. Her name is Marianna, she loves animals, and she takes the situation under control.

When they are teens, Klava rejects his love because she knows that he doesn't value her for her, and instead is attracted to Lavrik, another intelligent boy from school. Klava likes him because for the first time she feels like someone is really interested in her as a person. Seryoszha, being very dramatic and wanting Klava's/everyone else's sympathy, writes a suicide note, "Please blame Klava K. for my death," but can he really commit suicide? Eventually he realizes that he is being too shallow and that while he makes such a drama out of such small problems, the people around him have real problems, but never said a thing.

The transition from one state to another is very important - it is at this time that the character of the teenager is tested, his whole future life is determined. Eighth-grader Lyonka Buldyryov solves the problem of choosing a future path in life. These few days, full of important events and impressions, become decisive for him.

The contents of the data become known to the workshop staff, and a conflict arises when it becomes clear that the official head of the workshop, Ekaterina Mikhailovna, who got her position through nepotism, does not enjoy authority in the workshop and that there is an unofficial leader in the workshop — engineer Uglov.
