A youth group aims to perform a traditional Okinawan song & dance routine known as Eisa at an all-island Eisa festival. Along the way, they debate the merits of modernizing traditional arts vs staying faithful to their original forms.

The movie is an adaption from a manga with the same name written by Shungicu Uchida. It's an unique psychological suspense about a woman who is addicted to dating websites, but she ends up encountering there more than she expected and that might cause her own collapse.

On the 25th of November 1988, four youths abducted and held Furuta Junko in the house of one of the captors. In an attempt to hide their crime they buried her in cement and thus the name 'Concrete Encased High School Murder Case' was born as Japan had to confront the horrors of this crime. The perpetrators disposed the drum in a tract of reclaimed land in Koto, Tokyo.
