With a debt to a violent loan shark, a scrawny businessman must deliver a package by midnight to escape death -- except the package is a dead body.

By 2035, the US legalized the commercial hiring of hitmen to combat the soaring crime rates. And amongst them, "Lone Magpie" is considered one of the best in his profession. But throughout the making of his over-the-top commercial, the bravado facade begins to slip, as a morally-conflicted Magpie seeks answers from the director of the advert.

After channelling her grief into a masterpiece, an obsessive writer tries to win the heart of her estranged friend with it -- unaware of his plot to steal it for his own literary success.
