Almost all of the dialogue and narration is extracted from the original work, with only minor differences in the storyline as follows. Yashiro Ryusuke's own home is located on Y Koji. When he first accompanies Kanako on the road, Kagawa meets her in front of Yashiro's house, and Kamei also appears there. Dr Asano's wife did not show up. It is explained that Kagawa has two girls (in the original story, one is a student at a girls' school, but the gender of the other is unknown). The introduction of the 'one in 500 murderers' is told against the backdrop of Kindaichi excavating an air-raid shelter (which appears to have been made from a natural cave).

‘Many people have a preconception about butoh — that it is performed by dancers whose bodies are painted white. So when we debuted our current program, ‘Crazy Camel,’ in France, and we came on stage covered in gold-colored powder, the fans and experts there thought we were pioneering a new style,” 72-year-old butoh master Akaji Maro says in a recent email interview. “In fact, this gold-powdered showy performance style has existed as a cabaret-show flip side of orthodox butoh since not long after the genre was started in 1959. It was developed by two trailblazers — Tatsumi Hijikata (1928-86) and Kazuo Ohno (1906-2010).”

Directed by Banmei Takahashi of "New Love in Tokyo." A drama centered around identity, with a half Korean/Japanese man and a hermaphroditic woman.

Keiko, a lonely single woman living in Tokyo, is taking the elevator up to her apartment one day when a couple of young thugs suddenly appear. They immediately assault her, dragging her into a stairwell and taking photographs of her in the throes of her ordeal. She leads them to an apartment inhabited by Miho, a woman she often sees in the building. The men burst in and, after repeatedly beating Miho’s partner, subject both women to endless rape and degradation. In the midst of their mutual torment, the hatred that Keiko and Miho share for each other explodes, revealing them both to be as ruthless as their captors.
