One stormy night, a writer, while working, finds a sunflower. He picks it up and relives the birth of his son, connecting with his true reality, where he is elderly and suffers from Alzheimer's. His son comforts him, and the two connect for a few moments.

Milton Douglas writes a story where he is the protagonist. His character finds pages throughout the day, which narrate events that will inevitably happen to him, culminating in his murder. Milton Douglas also dies without knowing he is a character in a story.
