Helenka, a textile industrial student, invents an ideal man who is the envy of all her friends. The dreamy and delusional Helenka resists her complexes with an imaginary lover, her more realistic friend Zuzka would also prefer the dreamy Patrik, but in the end she will probably be happy with the less ideal Honza, and the self-confident vulgar nymphomaniac Sylva flies from one lover to another like a butterfly, finally as she was the only one waiting for her dream Patrick.

In the Czech film comedy from 1988, you can see for yourself that the war was not easy, but otherwise it was great fun. Sergeant Kouba serving with the paratroopers has a soft spot for women. His superior does not like him. However, during a military exercise on the way to the barracks, Kouba shows his true character when he saves the life of a little boy, convicts a thief and finds a lifelong partner in the commander's sister.

The opening image that begins the suspenseful story is marked by a tragic event: an eight-year-old girl is brutally murdered in the forest and the dog that accompanied her is shot. A well-known fairy tale about a princess who slept for a hundred long years. It is hardly possible to remember the names and fates of all fairy-tale princesses. But when you say Princess Rose, there is no doubt that everyone immediately knows what happened to her. Is it because of that sweet, ordinary name, or because her story is so unusual and interesting?

The main character of the story is a former biology teacher named Montelík, who ends up in court when he loses his temper and hits his former student, who is the son of a prominent family. The professor finds a kindred spirit during the trial in a young aspiring lawyer who, despite the reluctance of those around her, tries to save the honor and dignity of the old professor.

The TV play tells the story of a woman who committed financial fraud at work. But she did not appropriate the money for herself; she was lured into the wrong act by dedication and a great, almost monkey-like love for her children. However, it is her teenage children who cannot understand that their mother, their model of decency and honesty, who taught them to safely distinguish right from wrong, has so disappointed them. The search for understanding and forgiveness will be very difficult.

The story of how it turned out when a young lawyer tried to intellectually elevate a cute dancer from Prague's bohemian milieu. Journalist Šmíd introduces his long-time lover, a cheerful but simple girl Fanynka, to his friend, a young lawyer. He decides to take good care of the girl, buying her gifts and even furnishing her with a nice apartment. When he is called up to the army, he asks his friend Šmíd to look after Fanynka for him. After all, he himself intends to employ her and educate her intellectually. He gives her the task of reading serious literature once a week, about which the girl is to give him extensive testimony in a letter. But Fanynka soon starts to get fed up with the intellectual diet...

The television production captures the last decade of the life of the now world-renowned painter Karel Purkyně (1834 - 1868) and his struggle for the possibility of creative expression. After studying in Paris, he returns to Prague. He is not recognized, has no success and actually lives on the support of his father, the famous physiologist Jan Evangelista Purkyně. The only understanding he finds is in his admirer Maria, whom he marries. But he loses her too due to his emotional involvement with another woman. He dies too young and leaves behind a work whose artistic value will only be appreciated much later, at the beginning of the twentieth century.

"Rettička" not only fights for standard Czech, is a patriot, but also attracts young girls and students to her and lends them Czech books. She simply disrupts the good old order. A Slovak detective story set in contemporary Bratislava and featuring ordinary people with their own everyday problems. The violent death of Olga Holešová places them under heavy suspicion of murder. A series of strange coincidences and circumstances complicate the investigators' work. Her husband's infidelity, the loss of a large sum of money that the treasurer Fiala is supposed to replace, a lawyer earning extra money by doing various odd jobs - all these are confusing clues, among which investigator Jakubec eventually finds a thread that will lead him to the correct solution to the case.

Prague in the 1870s. Work in Smolík's sulphur factory is hard and dangerous to health. The poorly paid workers resemble torches because their clothes are soaked with poisonous phosphorus. Young Josef Rezler also works in the sulphur factory and uses his earnings to feed his mother and little sisters. He throws his perpetually drunken father out of the house. The older worker Brož forces Josef to learn to read and write. A cholera epidemic breaks out in Prague and Josef is the only one of his family to survive the disease...

The strange and sickly old man has to overcome his crankiness and distrust of people before he fully accepts his lodger and her husband "as his own"...
