The film’s protagonist, Karamat, differs from many others in that he feels as if he is traveling the Silk Road through the ups and downs of life. In his own words, he claims to have “great respect.” True, his debts are greater than his honor — he has quite a lot of them. Although he always wants to live with honesty, he eventually faces injustice. If Karamat is truly Karamat, this cannot go on! At one moment, he makes a firm decision to change everything in his favor, fueled by the desire to turn his fate around — and that’s where it all begins.

The film tells the story of two friends Farid and Ramal. Farid and Ramal were homeless young people growing up on the streets of Baku. Ramal takes advantage of Farid's innocence. He forces him to work, supposedly to save the money and go find his mother. One day, they accidentally save Ayan, the daughter of a wealthy family. Ayan tells these young people about her problems. Farid finds a solution to this problem: he advises that Ramal and Ayan supposedly love each other and get married. And that's how it all starts.

People often realize the value of those they love only after losing them. By then, it is too late. Khayal never thought about it that way either. Now, as he approaches his fifth wedding anniversary, the young doctor is so devoted to his profession that he thinks only about his success at work. He even forgets their wedding anniversary. His wife, Gunay, a young singer-songwriter, has always longed for his love and attention, but by now she has grown accustomed to his forgetfulness…
