Grounders is a heartfelt personal documentary about a women’s softball league in Brooklyn, New York: the games, the teams, and the players that take the field. Exploring the dynamic personalities and compelling life stories of a diverse group of women, Grounders captures an inside view of a unique sub-culture, and a thoughtful and uplifting revelation of their community emerges. With Brooklyn as the backdrop, and connections that blur the boundaries of race, class, age, religion, and sexual orientation, these women have many stories to tell about why they are there.

A lush erotic encounter between two beautiful women who make love in a rowboat in New York's Central Park.

Examining the relationships between brother and sister, hetero and queer, male and female, this video weaves a provocative discussion between a Black lesbian and her straight brother. In an eloquent examination of desire and denial, Jocie attempts to make her brother acknowledge the violent face of homophobia recounting a time when she was attacked. Frankie candidly tells his sister about his own disempowering experiences as a Black man and recounts the time he tried to seduce her former lover. A candid and brilliant dialogue between family members.

This film portrays a jealous triangle. Simone and Kaye are lovers trying desperately to escape New York City and the reality of their friend Ayo's abusive relationship.
