The film presents a range of “closets,” each with its own unique journey, while also revealing shared experiences across different lives. Cis and trans individuals, women, men, and non-binary people of various races, backgrounds, and ages recount the moments they came out to the world. Despite their differences, the documentary highlights the connections that unite the LGBTQIA+ community and celebrates its cultural and artistic expression—offering support, visibility, and a deeper understanding of what it means to come out.
