About Prince Leopold, who is not independent due to the poor upbringing of his royal parents. He makes up thousands of excuses for whatever he has to do. He likes to claim that he is unlucky and that if he had a dwarf, he would grow up too. The White Lady from the painting wants to help the maid Lidka, who loves the prince. So she conjures up a real dwarf for him, who makes Leopold's life "unpleasant". Will the prince's love help him grow up and get rid of the dwarf and his excuses?

Not all kingdoms are the same. When King Alfonso wants to have an heir in the kingdom of men, he finds himself in a tricky situation. But a ruler is a ruler because he can deal with tense moments decisively. And so, with the generous support of the invisible fairy godmother, Alfonso chooses his bride after all. However, this causes the atmosphere in the kingdom to become tense, and the advisors Lakabus and Kakabus impatiently await the first disaster. It is not long in coming. Saturnin is a servant who becomes his master's master. A young man of good social standing and upbringing, somewhat conservative, acquires, through no fault of his own, a servant named Saturnin. Saturnin effectively becomes his employer's master and causes a series of surprising twists and situations in his previously peaceful life. Without Saturnin, these would be difficult to manage. In one royal forest, where coal miner Patočka lives and works, the friendly dragon Mrak settles down. The king's lackeys come across him while hunting and, terrified, go to sell the news to the king. He is currently organizing his daughter Viola's birthday party. The hunters describe the dragon in terrifying colors, and so the king concludes that the dragon will, according to tradition, want the king's daughter. So he announces a reward for killing the dragon, but no one wants to fight him. The only one who applies is the princess's favorite, the lutenist Marian, but the king does not like him, so he throws him out. Her brother Jan wants to save the princess, but the king doesn't want to allow it...

The picture, unlike the other film adaptations of the story, focuses much more on Crusoe’s life before and after his stay on the island. Following the principle of setting the novel right, it describes Crusoe’s experiences with delicate irony and understanding.

Further east of the Dark Blue Sky, where the Heavenly Horsemen fought, the story of a Czechoslovakian fighter squadron takes place, to which Second Lieutenant Jandak arrives as a rookie. He then experiences both his first love and a battle high above the clouds in the collective of combat pilots. Combat pilots on the Eastern Front thus experience similar stories to their Western colleagues, with the same goals and plans and the same slim prospects of survival in their daily life-and-death battles. Not surprisingly, they fought at a time when they had a common enemy, characterised by the Messerschmitt aircraft.

The Spanish king marries the beautiful, clever and poor Charlotte, who is jealous not only of himself but especially of his mother, who has had him all to herself until then. She takes advantage of his jealousy and gets the king to have the young "queen" imprisoned. Charlotte manages to escape to England, where she accidentally meets her rich uncle Lord Spencer. Thanks to him, she achieves justice and manages to regain the king's love and trust.

A romantic fairy tale about a poor painter, Jakub, who visits a sad kingdom where no one is allowed to laugh. But Jakub doesn't like that at all. Will he be able to change the sad kingdom into a happy one?

The accountants at a agricultural cooperative near Prague have completed the calculation of wages. The driver with the cashier are leaving for a bank in Prague to withdraw the cash amounting to over one million crowns. On returning back, an oncoming heavy truck appears, crashing into their car. The injured men cannot defend themselves, and the whole cash is stolen from them.

In December 1437, Emperor Sigismund, King of Bohemia and Hungary, returns from Prague to Hungary. Due to a prolonged illness, he stops with his entourage at Znojmo Castle. The Emperor's wife Barbora, daughter Elizabeth and her husband, Duke Albrecht of Habsburg, Supreme Chancellor Kašpar Šlik, bishop, doctors, but also a former supporter of the Hussite movement, Master Křišťan of Prachatice, all expect the Emperor's death. Family members and even the Supreme Chancellor are considering how to obtain the Czech crown for themselves. The Emperor is already dictating a will, but has not yet sealed it with a seal. The film follows Karel Novák, who is appointed as the head of a research institute's new department. His ambitious wife, Eva, sees this as an opportunity for social advancement. Vera, wife of the plumber Simandl (Josef Somr), is found murdered in the cinema next to the IDOC (Information and Documentation) agency where she worked. Police captain Marha (Frantisek Nemec), who is leading the investigation, is informed by Simandl that on the day of the murder Vera promised to bring home fifty thousand crowns to buy a car. Marha's primary suspects are the three men working at the agency: deputy editor-in-chief Brandl (Jirí Pleskot) and editors Pernata (Eduard Cupák) and Remes (Ludek Munzar, and of course also Simandl.

A mysterious man named Michael Allan Jones arrives in Prague to search for his ancestors. Specifically, he is interested in the year 1611, when a meteorite allegedly crashed near Dobruška. The search for him is helped by nice writer Marcela, who writes a short story about this topic. He thinks it wasn't a meteorite, but a UFO. With her, Michael visits several Czech locations with a mysterious past.

Despite his father's reluctance, he moves to Prague so that he can practice his dream football in top conditions. Honza and Zuzana are very young husband and wife. They have a little daughter of whom willingly occasionally take care the grandparents and Honza's fifteen-year-old brother Martin. Zuzana continues studying and Honza devotes all weekends as an amateur competitor to the motor-cycles at the speedway. Zuzana is not interested in motor-cycles. Martin holds responsible for his brother's marriage and at the advice of his friend Magda, who is of the same age, invites her sister-in-law to the club of Hucul horses so that she does not feel bored. But by misfortunes and unexplained quarrels both young husband and wife start being jealous of one another.

Honza is a clever young man and a strong man who is not afraid of anything. Despite this, he cannot find friends in his village, and even the girls are just laughing at him. That is why he prefers to go out into the world to try his luck. He is not scared by the hastrman, he overcomes even the fear of the devils in the castle and frees the beautiful princess, whom he marries. The fearless Honza is only truly scared when the princess gets lost in the forest. When he finds her again, he is richer for the experience that losing a loved one is the worst thing that can happen to a person in the world.

A story of love and honor that takes place during the mid-nineteenth century during revolutions, as well as economic, political, and social hypocrisy. Two extraordinary but lonely artists share a passionate love, as evidenced by the preserved letters that they exchanged.

A trespassing gang of boys encounter a ghost in the ruins of a castle. When they rescue the ghost who is caught in a trapset, they become allies in a fight to prevent ruins from being turned into mushroom farm by the city authorities.

Kastl is a hairdresser but his real passion is his second job as football referee. This job takes all his free time and makes his wife very nervous.

Two kind but foolish sisters live together in their villa in a small town in South Bohemia. Fany (Natasa Gollová) has never married and Andelka (Eva Svobodová) is a widow. In the morning, the two sisters go into town. They need to buy fuel oil, put money in the bank and give plums to the teller. In the meantime an smallish orange Skoda MB car parks at their house, with Hermínka (Iva Janzurová), the old ladies' niece, and her fiancé Michal (Jirí Hrzán) in it. Michal has forgotten to bring flowers and has to go into town to fetch them. At the bank, Fany wants to deposit money but the minute the teller opens the safe, a thief arrives. He knocks the teller and Fany unconscious and runs away with the money. When Fany comes to her senses again, she sees Michal and accuses him of being the thief.

A group of wealthy American Jewish businessmen have been captured by the SS and are told that they are to be traded to the American army for several SS officers. However, these hostages are being required to pay bribes for their "transportation costs." In order to ensure that the businessmen will be more cooperative in paying up, a beautiful female singer is placed in their midst as a bargaining chip. The group of hostages are then placed on a train which is supposed to take them to the ship that will deliver them to freedom, but a series of "mishaps" delays their escape.

In a small Texas town where cowboys lived their usual lives, local villain Bill Crooked Mouth and his cronies played cards in the saloon and the bandits raided the town, there lived rancher Andrews and his daughter Daisy. One day, rancher Andrews succumbed to his evil passion and lost not only the girl's dowry, but also the entire ranch, to Bill and his villains at cards. But at that moment, rescue appeared in the form of the noble cowboy Sandy, who fell in love with the girl and rushed to her aid. Unfortunately, the father also lost his daughter in poker. Sandy saved him from suicide - he won everything back. Then a melee broke out, during which the guests whitewashed the entire saloon and chased out the villains, led by Bill Crooked Mouth. Daisy asked how Sandy had acquired the money he had invested in the game - he had won it in the Sportka lottery. And so their happiness was no longer hindered...
