A group of drivers paid according to their performance are struggling with hard work in a large quarry, somewhere where foxes say good night. A new worker, Marek Orban, joins the team of foreman Peter Hotka, known as Maco. Deep down, he is a deeply moral person, although he was given a suspended sentence for bodily harm. He beat up his wife's lover, to whom he must also pay compensation. Marek hides this from the other members of the group because he is ashamed. Maco, out of friendship with Marko, attributes non-existent trucks to the group, which, of course, backfires. However, the team eventually shows its strength and works off the undeserved reward.

This international co-production, shot at Barrandov Studios with international cast including Czech actors is an attempt to create a sci-fi fantasy in the tradition of Star Wars and Star Trek. Sometime in the distant future, several earthlings turn up on a strange planet ruled over by a despotic ruler with magic powers. A young earth-man initiates a successful uprising.

A crazy comedy about what caused a passion for solving crossword puzzles. An insurance company representative writes a report with the Sluks about an accident that happened in their house. Mrs. Slavíková went shopping while her husband was filling a ten-liter pot with water that was on the stove. Mr. Kukačka stayed home, sick, and his wife went to visit relatives. But the husband used his illness to cover up his antics. Mrs. Sluková was doing a crossword puzzle and was looking for the word "seductress at six". She asked her husband to go borrow Mr. Slavík's crossword dictionary. Then Mr. Slavík's door slams shut, his pot of water overflows, and the gas goes out...

A comedy set in a circus setting. Artist Ivan Brabec visits the variety artist Bellinzon to ask for the hand of his daughter Dana. However, the old man throws him out because he promised his daughter's hand to the son of his old friend, a Hungarian magician. Moreover, he flaunts circus tradition and his family. But Brabec complains to the stagehand Šíša, who reveals a secret to him. Bellinzon does not actually come from a respected family of circus performers and his name is not even Bellinzon, but Kudláček...
