After an alien ship crash lands in a Russian city, many who see the inside and the occupants start to question their own existence while others demand the aliens leave Earth.

Contemporary Russia. After he flubs a penalty kick, a humiliated national soccer player quits the game. He flees to a small town, where he decides to coach their local team.

The thirties, the heyday of Soviet film production. The story of the famed couple's glory — a filmmaker and actress, behind the external well-being of which were hidden strange contradictory relationships and a sense of fear that they carried through their whole lives. The prologue to this story is the 85th anniversary of Lidiya Polyakova, the formerly brightest star in Soviet cinema, who played the main role in all the films of her own husband, director Konstantin Dalmatov. Now in the courtyard there are other times, Dalmatov’s movies are called ideological agitation, and the director himself and his wife are hiding from the world in the country, trying not to let anyone in.

Andrey inherits a map to his great-grandmother's treasure, a gift from her lover, and hidden since the early 19th century. He and Mikhail, the descendant of his great-grandmother's lover, follow the map's clues to Montenegro.

During military exercise a group of commandos walks into a mine field that has been left over since WWII. The only person who can save the trapped men is Serba, a surviving soldier of WWII, who was in the field back in 1943.
