Biography of the famous bandit El Tempranillo, acting with impunity in Sierra Morena during the reign of Ferdinand VII.

A son of the Marquise of Seven Almenas is robbed by a crook and deposited in Melchor's house, who sells dolls in the street. The administrator of the Marquise discover the whereabouts of the child and goes to pick him up, but Melchior gives him one of his children, thinking that will ensure the future. Over the years, Melchior, widower, enters as a steward in the house of the marquise where the alleged 'marquis' live splendidly.

Federico is having an affair with Fernanda, which he believes widow, when in fact she is married. When the trick is discovered, a doctor appears very opportunely saying that infidelity is a disease caused by bacteria and has no cure. In his private clinic he applies a treatment that consists of locking up every adulterer with his mistress.
