Liu Bei

Four friends come up with an unusual idea to make some money and have fun doing it. For a small fee, they will impersonate and act out any character role for their customers. In the course of executing this novel service, they encounter a whole spectrum of people in society, finding ways to genuinely help them boost their morale and overcome their fears, while gaining unusual and new insights into the human condition.

The film tells of the attempts made by a Beijing van driver to obtain his wage arrears from travel agency boss even to the point of kidnapping the latter's Singaporean girlfriend (Jacklyn Wu).

Bei Xiaobei is a self-abased writer because he feels himself too fat. Because of his poor appearance, he often ran into a wall in real life. Later, he unwittingly finds a long dusty family tree and accidentally crosses through the ages to meet with his ancestors.

An adaptation of Liu Zhenyun’s award-winning novel One Sentence Worth Ten Thousand, produced by Bill Kong. The novel, which won the Mao Dun Literature Prize after it was published in 2008, revolves around a divorced woman and her married younger brother and deals with loneliness and alienation in contemporary Chinese society. The film marks the feature debut of award-winning short filmmaker Liu Yulin, who is adapting her father’s work. A New York University film graduate, Liu’s short film Door God (2014) won a silver medal at the 41st Student Academy Awards and was selected by Cannes.

2000 years ago Loulan, a famous ancient country on China's Silk Road, disappeared mysteriously, leaving only a mystery that was difficult to solve for a thousand years. In the 1930s, archaeologist Wen Xiaochen led an archaeological team from Beiping to investigate the Western Regions again in order to explore the traces of Loulan. One day, Professor Wen and Japanese scholar An Teng discovered a wooden slip with clues about the cemetery of Mrs. Angui of Loulan Wang. Their actions have been watched by Ma Zhankui, the leader of the desert bandit "Black Wind". Ma Zeng was driven out of the archaeological team by Professor Wen for robbing the tomb.

A Sigh tells the story of an affair between a struggling Chinese screenwriter and his young female assistant, its effects on his marriage and the impact on the man himself.

A squadron of the armed police force is responsible for escorting a group of serious criminals on a special train.

Father documents the tumultuous relationship between a widowed father, Ma Lisheng, and his school-age son, Ma Che. Though he works as a low-level party functionary during the day, he finds his greatest challenges in the raising of a son on his own. Alternating between trying to bond with his son (even getting drunk with him), and verbally accosting him, Ma is at a loss. One day the son decides that the best way for his father to stop harassing him, will be to find him a new wife, which he finds in the form of the mother of a school friend, Qing Huaiyuan.
