Lidia goes with her mother, Gina, to the beach house where they used to vacation during her childhood. What should have been an opportunity to relax by the sea, begins to reveal unresolved issues in their relationship.

Jessie, depressed and suffering from epilepsy, is determined to do one last good deed for her mother: paint her nails. Her mother, lost in her routine and confused by her daughter's sudden closeness, gradually begins to understand that something is wrong.
