Ever since his mother died in a fire, Terrence has secluded himself in an emotionless world. He goes through his daily teenager life apathetically… with one exception! The simple sight of a flame plunges him into a world of fear, an awaken version of his nightmares – for, every time he falls asleep, he helplessly relieves the tragic event, thus rekindling his pyrophobia. Until that one night he can’t bear it anymore and stops running away from the devilish flames. Little does he know that, by doing so, he overcame his greatest fear and became a Traveler: a very special kind of Dreamer, able to explore Dreamland, the dimension born from mankind’s dreams… and nightmares!

Until the age of four, Ki had everything to be happy. But that was before Hi arrived: an adorable little brother, smart, kind, and therefore terribly annoying! Ki then came up with a brilliant plan: tease, bother, and sometimes even blackmail his little brother. The problem is, even as a kid, Hi is perfectly capable of defending himself! In short, the battle between them has been raging for years, and there’s no sign of it calming down anytime soon… But they’re brothers, and you know the saying: opposites attract.

Based on the successful Azuro books, already translated into several languages, this action-adventure comedy series follows the escapades of three young dragons, Azuro, Oria and Vermilion, who comprise the dragon rescue squad. From their station base at the entrance to the fairy-tale village of Krakenstone, this trio of firefighter friends sets out to rescue magical creatures in distress, whenever the alarm is raised. And, whether it’s a gargoyle needing new glasses or a lost witch’s cat, they use their individual skills – eg Azuro shoots water from his mouth, not fire – to work together on each mission, doing whatever it takes to solve the problem in hand.

Stop motion short film explaining what stop motion is, specially made for an exhibition about STOP MOTION which is presented by Art Brutal at Annecy for the International Animation Film Festival 2014.
