After getting badly sunburned, a young woman’s misfortune leads her on a strange and unexpected journey through Palm Springs.

Against the backdrop of an LA wildfire evacuation, the lives of three young people from vastly different worlds—a privileged runaway from rehab and two unhoused 20-somethings surviving in a burn zone—intertwine, exploring the fragile boundaries between love, addiction, and survival in modern Los Angeles.

As passions surge and secrets unravel, a lethal triangle emerges between a wheelchair-dependent Ex-Surfer and a Dominican migrant couple in search of a new life. What begins as a quest for refuge swiftly morphs into a dangerous dance of desire, cloaked in layers of deceit and greed against a backdrop of unrivaled island beauty.
