Portrayal of the horrifying cases that highlight the boundaries between gentrified Southern dynasties, hip-hop hustlers and the flashy nouveau riche of this metropolitan mecca of music, entertainment and tech. Told by the investigators, witnesses, reporters and loved ones who have direct connections to the cases, each hourlong episode brings Atlanta's hustle and deadly decadence into sharp focus. It's the dark side of the New South, where deadly battles for status and affluence emerge between those who are willing to kill for the good life and those willing to kill to keep it.

On a hot Sunday morning, in a bustling American diner, the fragile lives of strangers collide over greasy breakfasts, black coffee reflections, and tense interactions amidst the 2024 U.S. election cycle.

In the near future, the "Spike," a 10,000 mile tall indestructible floating alien tentacle materializes in Earth's upper atmosphere, causing everybody to freak out. By now, though, everyone's gotten used to it. But after the Spike teleports a struggling beekeeper's beehives and a grieving wanderer's prized car halfway across the country, these two strangers must join together and take a dangerous roadtrip across a changed (but recognizable) America to get their stuff back.

When the son of a Senator goes missing, private investigator Gaven Mori is hired by the family to piece together and solve the mystery.
