Sidka Saavedra Vera, born in Santiago de Chile in 1998, is of Palestinian descent. In 2017, he moved to Buenos Aires to pursue a degree in Film Direction at the Universidad del Cine (FUC). Sidka has made significant contributions to the film industry, with a particular interest in documentary filmmaking, music, and sound direction. He is currently directing his first feature film "The Boy Girl and the Gothik Wale" with the Mecenazgo Cultural funding, the help of Universidad del Cine and the participation in FIDBA LAB Linkeados section 2023. He currently finished his first shortfilm "Underground Morphology" that was selected in BAFICI edition 2025.
