Artist Htoo Lwin Myo excavates the lesser-known and wildly joyful history of Myanmar’s horror and genre film industry in the 1950s that has persisted through political turmoil and archival neglect, told directly by the people who made it.

The film is a romantic drama that portrays the love story of young people, focusing on the mysterious ways of fate that bring together two lovers (or young individuals) with different backgrounds and personalities. Kyaw Hein’s Acting Debut This film was the first movie that U Kyaw Hein acted in before becoming a leading actor, marking a historic beginning in his artistic career. A Memorable Theme Song The film’s theme song, “Phu Sar Lan Sone” (The Crossroads of Destiny), became widely popular across generations and remains deeply cherished in the hearts of audiences to this day.

On May 7, 1885, during a time when Burma was about to fall to the British, within the King's Palace, the Lord of Navy and Bo Kyaw Khaung were trying to join forces with the French to defend themselves. A group of Bo Thurain and Bo Min Htin, loyal to Prince of Nyaungyan, were trying to defend their own kingdom without relying on anyone. At that time, there was a time of disunity and ethnic division, and the British took advantage of the illegal logging and tried to take over the country. Who would stand up and fight to keep the Burmese state from falling?
