The plot follows the story of an airline pilot, Avi, and his deeply tangled romantic life with Rose, a beauty queen. When a mysterious murder and dark truths come to light, the film turns into a violent and unpredictable psychological thriller, where Avi's lawyer desperately navigates the justice system to uncover who is truly guilty.

One day he skips class and while riding on his bike, he gets challenged from another bike rider in black helmet. He gets ahead of him and blocks his way. He acknowledges that the black helmet person was chased by Nepal Police for crime of robbery.

Two strangers Aavas and Nisha met in the bus trip from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Both of them share their opinion regarding life and characters. But both meet at Nisha’s home where Aavas is helping his best friend Vinay to plan a wedding to be with Nisha. Then both of them get separated again. But after few years both met each other and face the situation where both realizes their love.

Chunauti is an action-packed romantic comedy that tells a story of love, struggle, and justice. Ajaya and his wife Prabha move to Kathmandu, where Ajaya starts working as a teacher. Later, his sister Gita joins them and enrolls in the same college. There, she meets a kind and charming student, but trouble arises when Madhav, a troublesome student, also starts liking her. One day, a fight breaks out in the college, and when Gita tries to stop it, an inspector arrives and brings the situation under control. Angered by this, Madhav and his group cause harm to Prabha and Gita. They also try to escape punishment through legal means. With no strong evidence, Ajaya takes a stand and challenges the court. In the end, he decides to take justice into his own hands, leading to a tragic ending where the inspector, fulfilling his duty, stops Ajaya. Chunauti is a story of love, courage, and sacrifice in the face of injustice.
