Follow a new generation of the Dutton family during the early twentieth century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home.

India Opzoomer crafts a sensitive coming-of-age tale, bringing to life the cutthroat world of boy bands through the crushing story of a desperate 16-year-old who betrays his bandmates in a misguided attempt to secure his spot in the limelight.

On what begins as a quiet night at home, four friends are confronted with the news of a devastating act of anti-trans violence. In an instant, their sense of safety is shattered. As shock gives way to grief—and grief to rage—their quiet evening fractures into a shared, unspoken question: what does justice look like when the world refuses to provide it?

Follow a new generation of the Dutton family during the early twentieth century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home.
