The Sanremo Music Festival is the most popular Italian song contest and awards, held annually in the town of Sanremo, Imperia, Italy, and consisting of a competition amongst previously unreleased songs. The Festival was the inspiration for the Eurovision Song Contest.

The film follows the months after December 1, 2024, when Edoardo Bove suddenly collapses on the pitch during Fiorentina’s match against Inter. The incident disrupts what seemed to be a clear path for one of Italian football’s brightest young talents and marks the beginning of an entirely new chapter in his life. From that moment on, Edoardo faces a suddenly uncertain future: will he play again? Will he still be able to do so in Italy? And who is Edoardo beyond football?
