Gene Fowler Jr. was an American film editor and director with a career spanning several decades. He edited notable films such as It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963) and Hang 'Em High (1968). As a director, he is known for I Was a Teenage Werewolf (1957) and I Married a Monster from Outer Space (1958), both of which have become cult classics.
