Marina and David, two young artists, no longer feel the same passion that they've had for one another upon the early stages of their relationship. As time goes on, tensions grow and it all reaches a powerful breaking point.

Young biologist Marta Medved comes to the small town of Veliki Dabar to investigate the murder of a large bear, whose body has been discovered before the mayor's holiday home. Her arrival will suddenly wake up the sleepy highland town and its collection of seemingly normal residents, each with secrets of their own, including Marta's ex-husband Mauro and his agressive brother Mišel. To get to the bottom of the mystery at hand, Marta has to join forces with inspector Bolf, a kind hearted, but clumsy law enforcement officer, but, unbeknownst to both of them, they'll stumble upon a grand conspiracy that, in one way or another, involves the entire town.
