Ludvik has just come home from holiday, and finds himself completely alone. All of his Filmproduction classmates are gone, and no one knows where they are. Ludvik gets the responsibility of finding them before First Show is ruined.

One evening, as Ludvik is about to go to bed, he notices that a painting, once owned by his grandfather, mysteriously begins to move on its own. The next day, Ludvik shares the unsettling event with his friend Amund, and together they decide to investigate the painting's origins. Ludvik's grandfather had lived in an old cabin deep in the woods, that had been abandoned since his passing. Determined to uncover the truth, Ludvik and Amund venture to the cabin, only to discover secrets that should never see the light of day.

It's that time of year, and as Christmas approaches Braathen Street, the neighbors come together to celebrate the holiday. In their shared home, they find warmth and joy despite the challenges of their modest lives, proving that the true spirit of Christmas lies in togetherness.

Born into a family of farmers in the mid-19th century, Karoline Augusta Antonsen moves to a nearby industrial city in her late teens, driven by the dream of building a large family and owning a big house.
