Lucio Pascual Gascón, widely known as "Tchê," was a Spanish-born engineer and mechanic who significantly influenced Brazilian motorsports. Emigrating to Brazil in the 1960s, he brought with him expertise in mechanics and a passion for racing. Tchê became a pivotal figure in the karting scene, working with future Formula 1 talents such as Emerson Fittipaldi, Mauricio Gugelmin, Roberto Moreno, and notably, Ayrton Senna. His collaboration with Senna began in the early 1970s, with Tchê serving as Senna's mechanic, engine tuner, and mentor throughout his karting career.
