Created in just 48 hours as part of the TAKE48 2025 filmmaking challenge, held by the Sydney Underground Film Festival. Each team was required to include three key elements: • A mystery item: an egg • A line of dialogue: “That’s not how you do it.” • A bonus theme: a visual match cut. Cracked was written, shot and edited over a single weekend, earning 3rd Place overall and the award for Best Post-Production in the 2025 competition.

Set immediately after the events of CUT, Madeline and R must deal with the crushing fallout of their first encounter. Juggling both the physical and psychological trauma of what was and is to come, they realise their problems are bigger than just what's on screen.

After finding herself out of town, Lucy (Pyper Stancer) is brought into the lair of a crazed filmmaker, Karl (Thomas Bach) who knows a little more about her predicament than he should. As the situation escalates, Lucy must find out how to escape before the movie that is her life is CUT.
