After a bicycle accident, a traveler finds himself in the home of a girl he has never met. An attraction develops between them, gradually giving way to tension. Romantic intimacy turns into musical dissonance and collective psychosis, from which the protagonist struggles to escape.

The film embodies the mechanics of memory: a familiar face from the past that you cannot hold in your gaze; an image you struggle to grasp upon waking. Like memory itself, the celluloid and magnetic tape disintegrate: the image vanishes, distorts, develops blind spots, and dissolves into noise.
