Mateo lives in a small village near the crater of a volcano. As the volcano awakens, Alejandra, his love, sees it as an opportunity to leave and explore the world outside, while Mateo wishes to stay. Mara returns to Tenerife after breaking up with her boyfriend in Madrid. She spends the whole day with her sister Emma and they go to Carnival together. But there she remembers that this was the place where she met her ex.
