Grenouille, intoxicated by his own perfumes, which he consumes as if they were liquors, is drawn to a mysterious light that beckons him. It's her, the girl who first captivated him with her fragrance and drastically changed his life. Soon, the illusion fades, the radiant girl disappears, and Grenouille awakens to the squalor of reality.

Since childhood, a young boy has been fascinated and haunted by the myth of mermaids. One day, he begins to discover mysterious messages in bottles appearing across various bodies of water. Convinced that a mermaid has chosen to communicate with him, he embarks on a journey where the line between fantasy and reality becomes increasingly blurred.
