It is the 14th Great American Bash under the WWE banner, the seventh annual produced specifically for its developmental brand NXT, and the 28th Great American Bash event overall.

A major 10-Person Mixed Tag Team Match will take place on the NXT Stand & Deliver Countdown Show.
