Four friends get together to have fun in a country house. Upon the unexpected suicide of one of them, the others panic and decide to hide it from the police.

The film is about a cop who switches places with a criminal who robbed a bank. Yılmaz Ali stole a bunch of gold from the bank. He left the gold with his wife Türkan and went abroad. He is attacked by a gang who are after the gold. While in the hospital, he calls for Metin, a police officer who looks exactly like him. He tells Metin that he left the gold with his wife and asks him to take revenge on the gang. Metin returns to Istanbul using Yılmaz Ali's identity. Metin will try to find the gold and take down the gang.

It tells the story of Çakırcalı Mehmet Efe's struggle for revenge against Hasan Çavuş, who killed his father. The Ottoman government sends word to the efes living in the mountains that they will be able to live safely if they come down to the plains. Çakırcalı Ahmet Efe decides to come down from the mountains to end the struggle that has been going on for years. However, Hasan Çavuş and his soldiers ambush Çakırcalı Ahmet Efe and his friends, killing them all. At the time, Mehmet, who is seven or eight years old, is raised by Hacı. A man who has been wanted by the police for a long time disguises himself as a stowaway and hides on a passenger ship. The owner of the passenger ship, where he hides in a cabin, is the spoiled daughter of a wealthy family who has been abandoned by her fiancé. The girl meets the young man hiding on the ship and takes a liking to him. When they arrive in Istanbul, she introduces the young man she has been with throughout the journey to her family. The wealthy family hosts parties at their home for their friends. The girl's boyfriend also attends these parties.
