Now, everyone in showbiz scrambles for and it seems they will do whatever it takes. Thus, the watchful eye of a certain group looms over this audition. What no one knows is that there’s a dangerous secret lurking behind the curtain, and whatever black magic is called upon.

An elderly man burdened by repressed sexual urges and erectile dysfunction is haunted by nightmares from his past, until the boundary between dreams and reality begins to blur in his daily life. As the story unfolds, he uncovers a parallel narrative of a young man consumed by past wounds and guilt, trapped in an unending cycle of self-blame.

Fragments of a contemplative essay film drifting between memory and dream. I see an old man haunted by an elusive voice, and a fading childhood quietly watching over him, in a space where prolonged sleep blurs the boundary of what is real. This is a story written from elsewhere a place where I listen, observe, and record his story, in an attempt to weave together images of family, and the quiet violence of growing up.

I see moving images woven through light, images of myself, my experiences, and moments from my life that I can still remember. Passing through dreams as a montage, these images are projected onto the body of an old man sleeping in solitude. A personal video piece derived from a fragment of the projected imagery in myself, elsewhere (2025), this work contemplates the self through this fragment...
