Ciarán Dooley

The connection between a young girl and her grandfather transcends both a generation, and family politics. When Etain's grandfather moves into a derelict boat at the bottom of her garden on the idyllic West Cork coast, she spends her school holidays helping make it, and him, seaworthy again.

On the eve of her 21st Birthday, Ava explores the grief felt by the loss of her twin sister and attempts to overcome it.
