Mallika is the younger sister of a daily wage labourer, Muthu. She falls in love with a police inspector but when Muthu learns about it, he compels her to choose between her love and himself.

A Sri Lankan woman extremist, Manimeghalai arrives in India for a medical treatment. She falls in love with the doctor of the clinic, who risks life and limb to save her from the cops.

Naaga, a thug, helps a corrupt officer kidnap a journalist for exposing him and costing him his promotion. However, when the officer rapes her, Naaga realises his mistake and decides to mend his ways.

The story is about how a deaf and mute ten-year-old boy rescues a kidnapped business tycoon and his older sister in a festival crowd.
