Naphat Khunlam

A story about an entity that refuse to sleep and continue burning, no matter how many time it has been trampled upon.

Do you see the ghost?

On the 9 and 15 of January, Bangkok University opens for a new semester. While I was on the University's Bus for class, I shot a video at 240 frames per second. Then I slow it down to 24 frames per second. From 1 second to 10 seconds, and From 11 minutes to 110 minutes. Before I overlap the footage from the 2 days together in one.

Video Footages of various different perspectives on the bus that took 2 years to collect. Before combining those perspectives together, upon the same temporal field to recreate the space of a bus…

There was a tale about a city... There was a tale about a city... There was a tale about a city... (A Thai folk tale about a sunken ancient city intercut with contemporary pictures of Bangkok.)
