During the journey to his family's holiday dinner, Anthony is unexpectedly forced to relocate to bizarre new accomodations.

Marcus, a 23-year-old international student has just graduated and is now looking for a job in Toronto while his girlfriend travels to London for a violin competition. All alone and homesick, he finds himself living in fleeting moments with little money and a slow apathy towards his film production degree. As he waits for his work permit, he must reflect on whether to stay in Toronto or to return to Hong Kong.

Fed up with the cost of living in Canada's most populous city, the citizens of Toronto begin renouncing their personhood en masse to legally become animals, forming a society of "Wildmen" in the city's vast ravine network.

After a few nights of car-sleeping in a parking lot while attending an event far from home, Solly notices a policeman circling his car, waiting for him to return.
