Chris, a charming 40-year-old is married to Linda, and together they run the real estate agency she inherited from her late father. A lover of fast cars, beautiful women, and gambling, Chris soon finds himself drowning in debt. Then he falls for Diana, a young photographer, while Linda begins to have doubts about him. When Diana and Linda discover the truth, everything falls apart. Forced into criminal activities by his creditors, Chris gets into even deeper trouble when Diana accidentally ends up with a suitcase containing over a million dollars in drug money. Sinterklaas receives a letter from Eefje, who has a special wish. This wish is so difficult that it seems impossible. Meanwhile, Huismeesterpiet falls ill for unknown reasons and his duties are taken over by Rommelpiet. The other Pieten disagree with this because since she took charge, the castle has been a mess. Sinterklaas receives a visit from Willem de Schipper, who comes to apply for a job. But Willem turns out to be the missing piece of the puzzle for Eefje's wish.
