Pak Ajis, a former convict, wants to return and seek forgiveness from his wife and children after 20 years of imprisonment. On his journey home to his village, he hitches a ride with a girl named Elly who has run away from home. They are both without direction. But during the journey, he faces moments of distress. There they begin to understand each other and find direction in their lives. Ajis arrives in his hometown. Elly continues her endless journey. Ajis is told that his wife Halimah has passed away.
