Directing
Lucas Ostrowski
An active and curious DIY filmmaker whose cinematic interests focus on horror films and music documentaries. He is heavily influenced by the Midwest and his stories (fiction and non-fiction) reflect both the industrial and rural topography of this region. Furthermore, his love of music has influenced his work in sound design, sound editing, and sound mixing. He has a wide range of experience in the filmmaking process but prefers analog cameras (16mm, Super 8mm, and VHS) and mixed media to express his narrative, documentary, and experimental creative work which has been screened at regional, national, and international film festivals. Additionally, Lucas has interests in animation (rotoscope and stop motion techniques), and dabbles in eco-friendly film processing and alternative image gathering methods.
