Zainab is in Lagos for two reasons; to spread the word and chop life. Amaka is ready to pack her load and leave the city she has spent her whole life in. The worlds of the two women collide as the spirit of Lagos brings them together and threatens to pull them apart.

By recounting their experiences with family, friends, lovers and country, a group of strangers examine what it means to be loved as Nigerians and as women. Through these conversations, they unpack cultural biases, shared realities and potential alternatives towards a safer, softer future.

A woman navigates loss by reliving her former routines with the “ghost” of her former lover.
