A film-ballet featuring performers from the Kyrgyz State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. It is based on a national legend about faithful and all‑conquering love. The story follows a beautiful young maiden named Cholpon, who has the misfortune of crossing paths with Ai‑Dai, an evil vampire. Ai‑Dai drinks Cholpon’s blood and takes over her body. Now controlling the girl’s form, Ai‑Dai enters the palace, where she aims to win the affection of a handsome and unsuspecting prince.

St. Petersburg, 1860. A chronicle of life in a small village in the Baikal Region on the eve of World War I and at the time of the October Revolution. The age-old foundations are crumbling, the process of social stratification is underway and, as a result, some people go to defend the revolution, and others - to fight against it. The main hero is the young Cossack Roman Ulybin. At first, this carefree daredevil is preoccupied only with one problem: whether his sweetheart, Dashutka, is to marry him or a merchant’s son, Alyoshka. Roman is killing time fist-fighting with his rival. But little by little, the young man realizes that the world around him has changed, that people are fighting for equality and social justice, and, being a real Cossack, he can’t remain on the sidelines…

Boris Zhadanovsky, a hereditary nobleman and officer who was predicted to have a brilliant military career, sides with the rebellious people. In 1905, Zhadanovsky is sentenced to death for his revolutionary activities. However, a powerful strike movement organized in response to the court's decision forces the tsarist government to commute the sentence to life imprisonment. After the revolution, Zhadanovsky joins the Red Army and dies fighting the White Army.

At the age of 43, landowner Kirsanov is visited by his son Arkady, a recent university graduate, accompanied by the self-assured young doctor, Yevgeny Bazarov. Kirsanov's older brother, Pavel Petrovich, and Bazarov quickly develop mutual dislike. A few days later, Arkady introduces Bazarov to the young, beautiful, and wealthy widow Odintsova, who immediately captures Bazarov's interest.
