Before Cuaresma there is Carnaval, the time when everyone can do whatever they want. This documentary narrated by a generation of carnival-goers together with archival footage from 50 years ago, portrays the party full of music, food, drink and color that today unites an entire people; people who then, repent for their sins.

Two sisters swim in a lake shrouded in a dark legend. The film adopts formalisms of horror cinema to build an intimate tale about a family's breakdown and the emotional state its two daughters find themselves in.
